clinic

worked my first clinic and realized that my perception of my work is not necessarily the same as what the client thinks.

this is a good thing.

being someone who walks away from experiences thinking about what i can do better and what went wrong, they’re usually walking away not thinking about it at all.

a. in class put it best when she noted we need to really cut ourselves some slack as we fret over what we  messed up or what we didn’t do the client is in some blissed out zone and has no idea you forgot a stroke, a move, or, in my case, an entire body part.

so i’m going to be spending every sunday until the end of the year in clinic but to tell you the truth, i’m looking forward to it.
